Proclaim provides different options to apply a single text style to your service items.

Apply a Text Style
1.Select Service Items.
Press and hold Ctrl (Cmd for Mac) while you individually select service items. You may also select a series when you click an item and press and hold Shift while clicking the last item in the series.
Note: All selected items must be the same kind of service item (e.g. all Song items).
2. Select the Text Box or Text Field.
If you want multiple boxes or fields in a service item to have the same style, hold Shift and click the boxes/fields you want to edit.
3. Edit the text features.
Adjust the font, size, justification, effects, etc.
You can also select a pre-existing text style. Click Styles and select a style from the drop-down list.
Proclaim applies the style’s font, justification, and effects to the selected text box or text field in each service item you selected.
4. Apply to additional items.
Repeat these steps for each type of service item you want to match.
Create a Text Style
You can create your own custom style that can be saved and applied to any text box or text field.
1. Select a text box.
You may also create a new text box or text field.
2. Define the style.
Adjust the font, size, justification, and other properties of the text box or text field.
Note: You can import additional fonts into Proclaim. Click here to learn more.
3. Save the style.
Click Styles and enter a name for your style in the box labelled New style name such as Song Lyrics. Click Save. Proclaim saves all the properties of the text box or field.
Note: If you edit this style at a later date, text boxes and text fields with this style still need to be manually updated in order to apply the edited style.
Tip: Custom styles are especially useful when they apply to a certain color of background. You can search for backgrounds by color in the Media Browser.
Note: To remove a text style, click Styles. Right-click the style you want to remove and select Remove Custom Style.
Apply a Smart Media Template
Another way to apply a single text style to your service items is by applying a Smart Media template.
1. Select Service Items.
Press and hold Ctrl (Cmd for Mac) while you individually select service items. You may also select a series by holding the Shift key on your keyboard and clicking the first and last item in the series.
Note: All selected items must be the same kind of service item (e.g. all Song items).
2. Select media.
Click Media and select Browse Media.
Note: You can also open the Media Browser by selecting Browse Media from the Background drop-down menu.
In the Media Browser, select the template you want to apply.
3. Click Apply as Smart Media.
Proclaim applies the background and text styling to all your selected service items.
Note: When you apply a media item as Smart Media, Proclaim formats existing text boxes and fields to correspond to the text boxes and fields in the Smart Media. If your existing service item has additional text boxes or fields that are not in the Smart Media item, the text boxes or fields in your service item are eliminated.
