If you run Proclaim on Windows and the app doesn’t start, follow these steps to ensure your system is up-to-date.
Solution 1: Create an exception for Proclaim in your antivirus software.
Some antivirus software may block certain files of Proclaim, making Proclaim to close immediately when you try to open Proclaim. You can try to create an exception on your Antivirus for Proclaim.
Find the Proclaim route in your computer and create an exception in your antivirus.
- Open a File Explorer Window or Press Windows key + R.
- Type
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Proclaimand click OK. - Copy the Proclaim route from the address bar of the File Explorer Window, it looks like C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Proclaim
- Open your antivirus and create an exception for the route you just copied.
- Go to Control Panel >> Programs & features>> Look for Logos Bible Study and select it >> Repair
- Open Proclaim
Solution 2: Completely uninstall and Reinstall Proclaim.
- Uninstall Proclaim. Locate the Proclaim App and uninstall it. If you’re not sure where to find the app, open your system settings and navigate to the apps menu.
- Delete Proclaim data. In addition to uninstalling the app, you’ll also need to delete all local app data. Hit the windows key and type
%localappdata%. Locate and delete the Proclaim folder. - Download and install Proclaim.
Solution 3: Contact Proclaim Tech Support.
