With Proclaim, you can control a presentation from a location other than the computer hosting the local installation the Proclaim Remote. Follow these steps to install and use the Proclaim Remote. After installing the app, learn how to control or follow Proclaim presentations here.

Install the Proclaim Remote
The Proclaim Remote is available for Android and iOS. Follow the instructions below to install on your device.
For iPhone/iPad devices:
- Go to the App Store.
- Search for “Proclaim Remote.”
- Select the Proclaim Remote app.
- Press the Install icon.
For Android devices:
- Go to the Google Play Store.
- Search for “Proclaim Remote.”
- Select the Proclaim Remote app.
- Press the Install icon.
Note: You can also control your presentation with a third-party remote.
Configure the Proclaim Remote
Once you install the Proclaim Remote app, follow these steps to configure the app. You’ll only need to do this the first time to run the app.
1. Open the Proclaim Remote app.
2. Sign in with your Faithlife account.
This is the same username and password you use to sign into Proclaim.
Connect through local Wi-Fi network (recommended)
Proclaim Remote connects to your presentation computer through the internet, so both your mobile device and computer need a strong internet connection. The fastest and most stable way to connect is through your local Wi-Fi network.
1. Enable broadcasting from Proclaim.
Open Proclaim and navigate to the Settings menu. Select the Remote tab. Select Enable to begin broadcasting. (To turn off sharing, select Disable.)
Note: In Windows you may need to accept an administrator prompt to set up your firewall and allow Proclaim permission to broadcast over the network.
Record the IP address to enter into your mobile device in the next step.
2. Enable access in the Proclaim Remote.
In the top right corner of the Proclaim Remote, open the menu and tap About to access the local Wi-Fi settings.
Toggle Enabled on and enter the IP address from the Proclaim Settings menu above.
3. Test the connection
Select Test Connection to ensure the remote is connected to your computer. Presentations under your control are labeled "Local" in the Remote app when it is being controlled through the Wi-Fi network.
