Proclaim Remote will attempt to discover your Proclaim on your network and connect to it directly. This provides the best possible connection to Proclaim, and the most reliable way to control Proclaim remotely from a sound booth or from the stage.
In order to allow Proclaim Remote to connect locally, you will first need to enable the local server in your Proclaim app.
1. Enable broadcasting from Proclaim.
Open Proclaim and navigate to the Settings menu. Select the Remote tab. Select Enable to begin broadcasting. (To turn off sharing, select Disable.)
Note: In Windows you may need to accept an administrator prompt to set up your firewall and allow Proclaim permission to broadcast over the network.
2. Test the connection
And that should be it! The Proclaim Remote should be able to auto detect Proclaim. You will see this worked by seeing the Wifi icon in the Proclaim Remote's top bar, as well as the 'local' banner on your On Air presentations. If you aren't seeing anything, ensure your Proclaim presentation is On Air.
Presentations under your control are labeled "Local" in the Remote app when it is being controlled through the Wi-Fi network.
If you see the presentation but no banner, try swiping down to refresh. If that still doesn't work, follow the steps below to connect manually.
Connecting manually
If your phone or tablet has no internet connection at all, you can still connect to Proclaim. You will need to go back to the settings in Proclaim and jot down your computer's IP address. If you see multiple, you may need to try each, or get in contact with someone that understands your network setup to help you decide which is the correct one.

2. Enter the IP Address in the Proclaim Remote.
In the top right corner of the Proclaim Remote, open the menu and tap About to access the local Wi-Fi settings.
Ensure Enabled is on (should be by default) and enter the IP address from the Proclaim Settings menu above.
3. Test the connection
Select Test Connection to ensure the remote is connected to your computer. Presentations under your control are labeled "Local" in the Remote app when it is being controlled through the Wi-Fi network.
