Proclaim makes it easy to insert videos from YouTube (due to changes on the Vimeo platform, videos hosted on Vimeo are no longer compatible with Proclaim.) While in Edit mode, you will only see the website thumbnail until you Preview or go On Air.

YouTube videos are set to autoplay from the beginning. To start the video manually, find the code in the URL autoplay=1 and change the 1 to a 0.

Change the start time of the video by inserting &start=[number of seconds from the beginning] at the end of the URL.
For example: https://www.youtube.com/embed/9kW7LknzOlk?start=45&autoplay=1

Note: Use the full URL for YouTube videos; shortened URLs (such as https://youtu.be/pbuB2RFm_k0) do not format correctly and cause issues. To get the full YouTube video URL, find the video by searching on Youtube, view the YouTube video, and copy the URL in your browser’s address bar. If you have a shortened URL, open the YouTube video’s page using the shortened URL and then copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
- Some videos can't be embedded or won't play due to ads playback requirement or restrictions from the content owner. If you have trouble, try downloading the video and then add it to your presentation as a video item.

Sometimes simply changing the structure of the URL “tricks” the Proclaim internal browser into loading the page differently.
