Note: If you don’t want to make the image available to others in your presentation team, check the box Use on this computer only.
Background image options
Do you have a piece of art you’d like to use for a background, but the aspect ratio is different from your screen? Proclaim fills the area around the image or resizes it to fill the slide. Your slides come out looking great even using non-standard aspect ratios.
-
Insert background image
Select or add a service item. Open the Background dropdown menu and add your background.
-
Select background fill
To set a transparent, textured, or solid background, select your desired thumbnail from the Image section. The slide background updates immediately when you click a thumbnail.
If you have uploaded an image that does not match your slide dimensions, you can choose where the image is positioned on the slide and the color of the fill for the slide background.
Fill Color
Proclaim detects the best matching colors for your slide’s border. Choose a color from the palette. If you do not select a fill color, the transparent portion of the slide is automatically filled in by your output transparency color. Check the Image blur box to fill the additional space with a blurred version of your image.
Note: Selecting Image blur does not replace the fill color, which is still visible on the fringes of the image.
Image Position
Choosing Fit to Height automatically scales the image to fill the height of the slide. Select whether you want the image centered or aligned with the left or right edge. Any remaining slide area is filled with the selected fill color.
Choosing Fit to Width automatically scales your background image to fill the width of the slide. Select whether you want the image centered or aligned with the top or bottom edge. Any remaining slide area is filled with the selected fill color.
Note: The aspect ratio of your image determines whether the Fit to Height or Fit to Width option fills the slide.
