Proclaim equips you to design custom slides in minutes with Slide Canvas. To get started, click Add Item and select Slide Canvas from the dropdown menu. From here, you can build your slide(s) with the following options.
Select Template in the sidebar. Proclaim provides premade templates for a huge variety of occasions. Use the search bar at the top to find templates to fit the occasion or add your own from the Add dropdown. Once you've selected a template, select any content to open the Text Properties view, where you can edit and customize the text. With a template selected, clicking New slide at the bottom of the sidebar opens a blank slide built off the chosen template.
Select Text in the sidebar. You can Add a Headline, Add a Subhead, or Add body text to your slide. Proclaim allows you to add these text blocks to a blank slide or a template. Once you have added a text block, you can use the Text Properties pane to adjust text attributes, layout, position, and more.
Select Elements in the sidebar. You can choose basic shapes or illustrations to add to your slide(s). Drag and drop these elements wherever you like on the slide, and Proclaim provides centering lines to help with placement. You can edit a selected element from the Element Properties pane.
Select Images in the sidebar to add images to your slides. You can search for a stock image or use the Add button to import one of your own. Resize an image by dragging the corners, and move it by clicking within the image's borders and dragging it where you wish. You can also use the X and Y positioning if you prefer along with the W and H fields to adjust the image size.
Click and drag the white circle above the image or enter an angle in the position field to adjust the angle at which the image displays. You can also stretch the image along the X or Y axis with the fields immediately below.
Explore the other options in the Image Properties pane to further customize how your selected image is displayed.
If you prefer to build your slide(s) from scratch, select Background in the sidebar, where you can choose a background image or fill color to place behind your text. You can then add customizable Text fields to present your content just the way you want.
From the Layers tab, you can quickly adjust the order in which your layers (whether text or images) appear, or hide or lock layers. Layers are prioritized from the top down, so the first item on the list will be above every other layer in your slide.
Quickly add a QR code and its associated link from the QR Codes tab. As with all of the elements Proclaim provides, you can drag and drop or resize the QR code to fit your slide. You can adjust the code type, quality, foreground and background color, and position in the QR Code Properties pane.
