How to Use the Song Library

The Song Library is a complete song storage, planning, and archiving system built into Proclaim. Each worship team has a distinct Song Library so you can plan your services with your own arrangements.

Click Song Library to open your Worship Team’s song library.

Add a Song to the Song Library

To add songs to your library, click Add songs in the Song Library.

Note: If you are a part of multiple worship teams, you can switch between teams using the Team switcher in the top right-hand corner. Each team has its own Song Library.

You can add a new song to your Song Library in two ways: Add songs or Import.

Add songs

Click Add songs to search song libraries or create your own. Searching pulls songs from the Proclaim Hymnbase and SongSelect® (if you’ve linked your account).

Select any song to customize, click Add to library and add the arrangement to your Song Library. Add your customizations, key, chords, and more before adding the song to your library.

Note: To create a custom song with your own lyrics, click Create new song before searching for any lyrics.

Import Lyrics

Proclaim can import lyrics using a number of popular song formats.

1. Click Import.
2. Follow the directions to export lyrics from your service.
3. Import your lyrics.

Note: You can also import lyrics as images and Proclaim will extract the lyrics for your Song Library. Learn more about importing song lyrics

View and Adjust Song Details

You can view any song you’ve added to your Song Library to add the song to your presentation, provide additional arrangements, edit the song, or remove it from your library.

1. Click any title to view the song details
2. Click Add new arrangement to provide additional arrangements.
3. Click Add to Presentation to immediately add an arrangement to your open presentation.
4. View additional song details by clicking the sidebar Panel menu icon .

Remove Song from Library

While viewing any song or arrangement, you can remove the entire song or the arrangement from your Song Library by clicking the delete icon or Remove song from Library in the sidebar.
