Proclaim lets you trim your recorded sermon audio and choose a sound bite, but we recommend Audacity if you need to make additional changes.
To see recordings associated with a sermon, click the Recordings button and select one from the dropdown.
Use the blue sliders - initially at the beginning and end of a sermon - to trim the audio to the start and end points you require. So, for example, with the recording below,
it would be useful to move the left slider in towards the start of the audio to remove the quiet space.
If you want to create a soundbite for your sermon, move the orange section to the area of audio you want to include and adjust the orange sliders to determine how long the soundbite should be (maximum length is one minute)
When you are happy with these changes, click Publish.
Additionally, if you find your recordings are consistently quiet, ensure your audio recording levels are set correctly in Proclaim. Expand Settings and select Audio. Use the slider to change the recording input levels and record a preview if necessary.
